What a freaking disgrace! 2 out of the 3 fights we talked about on the show were garbage.
Brock Lensar=Kimbo Slice. He is a big strong guy that is not a mixed martial artist. In the next week pay attention to what people say about Lesnar, and see if it matches what they say about Kimbo. Because it should be the same if people are being honest.
Kenny Florian just cemented his legacy of being a complete bitch. Punch and run away, kick and run away. Yeah he is a top guy in the division. Fights like this one is why I gave up on boxing. Pussy bullshit.
I'll have more on this weeks show, but wanted to get everyones opinion

| I Watched these thight the other day, GSP looked great. Give leaner a few more fights before he kills someone in the ring. And Florian fought a good smart fight. I don't know what the problem is, why would you want to stand in front of a strong punched and get hit? If His opponet was any good he would have found a way to counter him, but he didn't. Also in MMA there is several ways to win. Ko, sub, and POINTS, I see no problem with someone trying to win this way. If you don't think points should be a way to win, well that's a different topic. |

I'm not going to respect someone as a fighter who doesn't try and finish a fight. He can be the smartest fighter in the world and he is still going to be a bitch for not trying to finish. Oh and by the way you can't counter someone who doesn't engage. Congrats Kenny your a points boxer, and I don't watch or respect them either.
A 10 point must system is ridiculous for mma. That system is set up for boxing. Leave that crap for the olympics.

At this point I think its fair to compare Kimbo and Brock. I do think that Lesnar has more potential to insert some submissions into his game or at least do something more than sit on the side and throw punches.
I gotta go with Rick on the Florian thing though. It is one thing to win by decision, it is completely another thing to actually try to win by decision. Any fighter will tell you don't let it go to the judges.
I don't like the point system but I don't have an alternative to it.
Gotta give credit to Fitch for hanging in there, but there is no doubt that GSP is the top welterweight in the world |

Smart fight yes. Good fight no. In the 1st Florian show he could take the fight to the ground, which in my humble opinion benefitted him. After the 1st he seemed content to jab and run so to speak. As a fan and viewer that is not a fighting style that I'm going to shell out money to see.
Lesnar was dominent I just think is was afraid to try for submission and make a mistake and get caught. I'm not going to call him the real deal until he show more ability. We will see. |

| This fight was huge for either Florian or Huerta. Florian got the early advantage and then literally ran with it to get the win and get a possible shot at Penn. Its his job to win not to entertain |

Now I know how much people like to get on Dana's ass (just realized how gay that sounds) and deservedly so in most cases, but he has shown in the past that he isn't going to get behind boring fighters (again slightly gay connotations, what the hell is wrong with me?) so if Florian is going to stick to that kind of game plan I wouldn't expect to see to much of him in the octagon.
As for Lesner I think he did outstandingly for what was his 3rd ever pro mma fight. He's green, but that is no reason to compare him to Kimbo. He didn't just sit on Hering, he controlled him and shit, if i saw Lesner charging at me like he did when he knocked Hering down i'd have pooped my pants and be slapping that canvas screaming "TAP, TAAAAP!" at the top of my lungs. |

| Nick. Seriously how was what Lesnar has done in the same amount of mma fights to differ from Kimbo? |

| He has fought two highly experienced fighters, got caught by one and pretty much dominated and neutralized another. Kimbo has been bubble wrapped, Lesnar was thrown to the dogs and (forgive the the pun) has come out fighting! |

I'm talking about the skill set displayed. Lesnar and Kimbo both use pure physical strength and have displayed very little in the way of being a mixed martial artist. Obviously Mir and Herring are higher quality opponents. Lesnar is a superior wrestler, and I believe he will be able to take anyone down, but even against Mir hasn't shown he knows what to do once there.
At this point kimbo and lesnar are the same. What they will become is up in the air. Personally I think Lesnar will excel. |

Kimbo's skill range = stand and bang; curl up in the fetal position and bribing refs Lesner's skill range = elite wrestling skills, XXXXL fists that know where they're meant to go and his knees on the ground looked terrifying!
I just think that its unfair comparing their skill sets. I'm not saying that Lesnar is the best guy ever, but he looks like he could be, at least in the UFC. |

Agreed. Lesnar can turn into something special.
As for were they both stand at the moment, we will have to agree to disagree. |

Florian is so classy. Now he is accusing Huerta of cheating. He said that Roger was "slippery." I guess the official that checks the head and gear before a fighter enters the octagon is in on it.
That must be why after the 1st round you didn't want to engage him.
SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU WHINEY BITCH!!!
