Last night on Impact Tna closed the show with former WWe'ers beating the hell out of tna original Aj Styles. Not a bad gimmick very nwo/wwe vs. ecw/new blood in wcw like. Once again the talent is there, but creative team misfired.
In my opinion what they should have done is let members of TNA's homegrown talent take the spotlight for a week or two with the "Wwe" faction of Booker t, 3d and Kurt Angle off tv for a bit. Maybe some vingettes of each wrestler bitching abou tna, cornette, and don west. But out of wrestling action. Then at the peak of interest bring them out to together to stomp a mudhole in tna stars. Essentially what wwe did with the wcw invasion except actuall yhaving the right guys be portrayed as the heels.
The storyline still has hope, but my confidence in the creative staff to handle this correctly has my faith shaken. It will be over booked and run to short for any real interest to be developed. This angle should take at least 3months to truly develop before facing off for the hvywt title, x title and tag titles respectovely. To get some real heat on the team Gail kim, one tna's most popular broads should turn and join the group tohold the womens title along with them. They should dominate as title holders for months until the "tna originals" mount a massive underdog offensive retaking what rightfully belongs to them.
Any thoughts?

| It sounds really interesting, but it probably is only to push Angle/AJ/Karen storyline. They may be headed towards the NWO type angle, the seeds were sort of planted when 3D had their fued with the MCMG's. They could do some interestng stuff with WWE vs TNA, but probably will do nothing of the sort. |

| Knowing the TNA ceative staff (i dont) they probably didnt even plan this as they dont seem to have any control over their angles ifwhat kurt said is true (probably just incohherent ramblings) |
