WWE has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Ricky Ortiz as of today, Aug. 8, 2009. We wish Ricky the best in all future endeavors.

The release comes on the heels of Ortiz coming out on the short end of a 30 second squash match.

Its about damn time!!!

They also released that U-Gene guy, good job WWE. Way to hire a guy and release him within a matter of weeks.
