WrestleMania 25 scored 960,000 buys, which fell short of the company's low end goal of reaching one million buys.
-The Backlash pay-per-view had 182,000 buys, which is down from 200,000 buys last year.
-The Judgment Day pay-per-view produced 228,000 buys, which is down from 252,000 buys last year.
-The Bash pay-per-view was the worst of the bunch with 178,000 buys. It dropped off considerably from the 273,000 buys that Night of Champions did during the same month last year. The number from the 2009 Night of Champions was not released because it fell in the third quarter
So the question is the drop in buys due to 1.) To many ppv's? 2.) Ppv competition from the UFC and other mma events? 3.) A fiscal refusal to watch the same people over and over in marginal matches with predictable outcomes?
